The holiday resort of Puerto de Mazarron is a short drive away. Here you will find numerous shops, bars and restaurants serving mainly Spanish food.

There are some 35 km's of beaches in the area including 7 blue flag beaches.

The resort is a favourite with the Spaniards (they keep the best places for themselves), but now you too can enjoy it. In the summer the workers from Madrid bring their families here to stay and the Port has a real family atmosphere.

You wil find the restaurants very welcoming and most menus are in both English and Spanish. The local bars and restaurants compete to put on the best tapas, many made from locally caught fish.
